

Leokadia (Szmurlo) Kaminski, 94, of New Britain, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2015. Born in Poland, she was daughter of the late Franciszek and Kazimiera (Zero) Szmurlo and was a resident since 1963. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, it’s Rosary Society and was a retiree of Atlantic Machine Tool. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived and will be missed by her two children: son, Wieslaw Kaminski and his wife, Krystyna and daughter, Aniela Tokarzewski, all of New Britain, six grandchildren and spouses; Dorothy and Christopher Linnhoff, Margaret and Tommy Godlewski , Teresa and Adam Niecikowski, Kathy and Brian Niedzwiecki, Eric and Joanne Tokarzewski and Nikki Tokarzewski, her ten precious great grandchildren; Matthew, Amanda and Kylie Linnhoff, Victoria and Timothy Godlewski, Ela and Alena Niecikowski, Owen and Samuel Tokarzewski and Jaxson Niedzwiecki and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at 8:30am for a brief gathering at New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain followed by her funeral liturgy at 9:30am in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
