Lucille Martin of Bristol died Jan. 27th, 2014. She was 80. Lucy was born Sept. 7th, 1933, in Lewiston, ME, to Augusta and Rose Lagace. She retired from Honeywell, in New Britain, at the age of 56, and moved to Parkman, ME. Then 7 years ago she moved back to Connecticut to be near her children and many grandchildren.Lucy died Jan. 27th after a short illness, and is survived by her son Gary Martin; Her daughters, Mariel Martin, Theresa Schneider, Gloria Woods, Karen Whiting, Sharon Policello and Cecilia Rogers; Fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Kenny Martin, grandson John Woods, and former husband Real Martin.
Friends and family are welcome to gather on Friday, January 31, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain for a period of visitation, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with pastor Bob Hass presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
