Marciano Bermudez

Marciano “Rocky” Bermudez passed away on January 20, 2021 in Newington CT at Bel-Air Manor at the age of 89. “Rocky” was born September 5, 1931 in Camerio, Puerto Rico to the late Angela Vasquez-Morales de Bermudez and Rosando Bermudez-Rojas. He met his wife Patricia Bermudez in 1973 and married her a year later. They spent 47 wonderful years together and settled into their home in New Britain. “Rocky” worked for Pinkerton for many years and Papas Dodge where he retired from just a couple of years ago. He served in the National Guard for 4 years and was honorably discharged. He is survived by his wife Patricia Bermudez of New Britain. His children Mark Bermudez and his wife Brenda of New Hampshire, Evelyn Paradis of Colchester, Diane Hudson and husband Daryll of N.H. Michael Bermudez of New Britain. He is also survived by his brother Efrain Bermudez and his wife Silvia of Hartford, Jose Bermudez and wife Elena of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by 2 sisters Edith Bermudez and Rosa Bermudez along with 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews along with several extended family members and friends. Rocky was predeceased by his parents Rosando and Angela, his siblings Candido Bermudez, Cercilia Bermudez, Valentin Bermudez, Juana Bermudez, Rosalia Bermudez, Felix Bermudez, his daughter Donna DeAdder of Vermont, Coochie Bermudez of Puerto Rico. New Britain Memorial-Donald D Sagarino Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Services are private and a burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later time.
