Michael Francis Hlavati, 63 of New Britain died on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Hospital of Central Ct. He was born in New Britain and was the son of the late Joseph and Delphine (Garuti) Hlavati. Michael attended local schools and worked as a CNA at local convalescent homes. He was a loving and devoted husband and father, had a great sense of humor and loved being with his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa (Reyes) Hlavati his beloved children, Joseph Hlavati and his wife, Stephanie of New Britain and Daughter Stephanie Hlavati of Orange, CT. his precious granddaughter who was his pride and joy, Natalie Hlavati and his sister, Katherine Heffernan and her husband, Richard of Guilford. He leaves several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Hlavati. Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery.
