Nancy E. Martinez

Nancy E. Martinez (Rankin), 47, wife of Ervin Martinez, of New Britain, passed away on August 31, 2014 at New Britain General Hospital. She was born August 17, 1967 in Damariscotta, Maine. She was the daughter of Pauline Ouellette of New Britain and Bradford Rankin of Maine and was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School.

In addition to her beloved husband and love of her life, she is survived and will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Danielle O’Driscoll, her husband John, and her first grandson they are expecting, of Bristol, Selena Martinez and her son, Julian Martinez, both of New Britain and step-daughter, Vanessa Martinez. Her sisters, Joyce Messer and husband Mark of Moscow, Maine and Mary Pabon of New Britain, her nieces and nephews; Stephen Rosado, Samantha Ferone, Billie Jo Lawrence, Ethan Churchill, Derek and Allison Messer.

The joys of her life were spending time with her loving family and traveling.

Funeral services will begin Friday, September 5, 2014 with a time of visitation from 8:30-10:30am at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by her funeral liturgy in St. Mary Church, New Britain. There are no burial services.
