Regina Lubomski Witkowski

She was born in Poland and was the daughter of Helena (Pultorak) Lubomski and the late Boguslaw Lubomski.

Regina has lived in New Britain for many years most recently she lived in Newington.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and retired from Stanley Tools Co. after 40 years of service.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, loved going to the beach, being with her family and friends. She especially loved her family and spending time with them and family gatherings.

Besides her mother, Helena she is survived by her devoted daughter, Regina Liistro and her husband, Frank of Simsbury; her son Thomas Witkowski of Newington and her beloved granddaughters who where her pride and joy, Ashley and Angela.

She is also survived by two brothers and a sister with their spouses, Richard and Agnes Lubomski of Plainville; Larry and Sue Lubomski of Farmington; Sophie and Stanley Golas of Farmington; also her loving companion Walter Stachelek and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday, March 28th, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, Directions: Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, 1 ½ miles on your right.

Funeral services will be on Monday March 29th, 2010 at 8:30 AM at the funeral home followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church on Broad St. New Britain. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
