

Stanley was a long time resident of Berlin and proudly served his country during WWII in the US Coast Guard. He was employed by the US Post Office as a mail carrier for 35 years and a lifelong Catholic as a member of St. Paul's Church in Kensington. He was a business owner of Avenue Market in New Britain in the 1960's. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and a member of the Knight of Columbus #3675.
Stanley is survived by his devoted children with their spouses, two sons and a daughter, Donald ("Wykk") and Lyn Dombrowik of Ventura, CA, Maureen and Russ Ayers of Wells, Maine, Steven and Pauline Dombrowik of Saco, Maine.
He is also survived by a brother and a sister, Eugene Dombrowik of New Britain and Irene Nahunchik of Florida. He leaves five grandchildren, Kina, Georgianne, Tomi, Heather and Ashley as well as ten great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Stanley was predeceased by his wife of 49 years Theodora (Dziob) Dombrowik, his three brothers, Lucien, Chester, and Fred; three sisters, Monica Majocha, Mary and Elizabeth.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, CT. Calling hours will be from 10:00AM to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Prayer service will follow with burial at West Meadow Cemetery in Newington with full military honors.
