He was born in New Britain and was the son of Irene (Krzykowski) Miecznikowski and the late Boleslaw Miecznikowski.
Stanley was a good nature person, he enjoyed going to church, listening to music and dancing, but most of all he loved being with his family and friends.
Besides his mother, Irene he will be dearly missed by two sisters and three brothers with their families, Marianne Rejniak and her husband, Marion of Avon; Stella Narozniak of Glastonbury; Mike Miecznikowski and his wife, Danusia; Kaz and John Miecznikowski, all of New Britain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved very much and a great niece Melissa Klatt.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
