Torianne Alise Huckaby

Torianne Alise Huckaby, 44, made her transition on July 24, 2024, surrounded by loved-ones at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Torianne, the daughter of Pamela Brown and Glenn Robinson, sister to Felicia Charles (nee Huckaby) was born in Albany, NY on November 10, 1979. Torianne was raised by her mom and Willie Brown, whom she acknowledged as her dad after moving from Albany to Hartford at the age of 2 years old.

Torianne was preceded in death by her son Christopher Napper.

Torianne leaves to cherish her memories: her first born, Kevin McBryon Broadnax and daughter; Taylor Alise Huckaby; her mother Pamela Brown and dad Willie Brown; her sister Felicia Charles (Felix) of Bridgeport; step-sisters Kimata Muhmmahed and Kinshasa Hightower; step-brother Kelvin Anderson; nephews, Nathaniel Smith, Kadin Smith and Anthony Smith; Beverly Broadnax of Hartford; Tyrone Napper of Hartford; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

The family wishes to thank cousins, Rev. Mary Smith-Gomes and Pamela Thomas; best friends, Janelle Smith and Ebony Heath; and all of the relatives who have contributed from their heart and are traveling from near and far.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 beginning at 2:30pm until 5pm at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053 with the Rev Mary Smith-Gomes officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home as early as 2pm to greet family and friends and sit in quiet contemplation. A repast will follow the Celebration of Life service on the premises of the funeral home commencing at 5pm.
