

Alberico Andrea Vitiello (aka Albert), beloved patriarch of our family, passed away peacefully on 08/05/2024 at the age of 86. Born on 02/06/1938, he was a man of remarkable intellect, boundless generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
A trailblazer from the start, Albert an Italian immigrant, was the first in his family to attend college. He attended Fordham University and excelled academically. His leadership skills shone brightly during his time as a captain in the army, where he served with distinction.
For 51 years, Al was a successful and an admired State Farm Agent. His dedication to his work and his clients earned him a stellar reputation and the loyalty of countless customers. Al’s commitment to excellence and his personable approach made his agency thrive, he was respected by his peers for his professional integrity and business acumen.
Known for his incredible generosity, Al dedicated his life to creating a legacy of wealth and opportunity for his family. He lived modestly, always putting others first, ensuring that his family and future generations could thrive.
Al had a deep love for gardening, finding peace and joy in nurturing his plants. This passion for cultivating growth mirrored his dedication to his family, which he held above all else. Family life was the most important thing to Al, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
His impact extended far beyond his immediate family. Many have shared stories of how he offered financial help and sage advice, earning the respect and admiration of his peers and customers alike. His zest for life, boundless imagination and forward-thinking spirit inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, encouraging them to reach their full potential and stand tall in the face of challenges.
Albert Vitiello is survived by his lovely wife Connie of 64 years, his daughters Sandy (Jeff) Gokey, Lisa (John) Curreri-Vitiello, and son Steven Vitiello. His lovely son Joseph has predeceased him. Al had 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for is incredible contributions to our lives and the lives of many others.
Al was a proud member of The San Silverio Club located in Dover Plains, NY, earning Man of the Year distinction in 2016.
Al Vitiello’s memory will live on in our hearts, a testament to a life well-lived and a legacy that will endure for generations.
Family will receive friends on Thursday 08/08/2024 from 4-8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. 10956.
A celebration of Albert’s life will be held on 08/09/2024, Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM- Annunciation Church 470 Westchester Avenue, Crestwood, NY 10707
