

Anne Marie Conklin passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 19, 2021. Annie was a 30 plus year resident of Camp Venture in Nanuet, where she was known for her kind words and compliments for everyone. She will be greatly missed by her Venture family and by her siblings, whom she loved dearly.
Anne Marie was born on October 29, 1948 in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, the first child of William and Veronica (nee Lillis) Conklin. The family moved to Chestnut Ridge in 1959, which Annie
still called “home”.
She is survived by her siblings William of Webster, NY, Joseph of Marion, MA, Veronica of Chestnut Ridge and Mary Sussman (Bill) of Suffern. She also leaves behind five nieces, two nephews and 2 great
nephews and a great niece. Anne Marie loved music, especially Broadway musical Her all time favorite was South Pacific. She also really LOVED coffee, especially Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla. She’s probably having one with Bill and Veronica in heaven now!
Family will receive guest on, Thursday 9:00am-11:00am at Michael J Higgins Funeral home, New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am, St. Anthony Church Nanuet, NY. Interment to follow St. Anthony Cemetery.
