He is survived by his dedicated wife Josephine, his son and daughter-in-law Franco and Felice and his daughter and son-in-law Angela and Anthony. Carmelo was a proud grandfather to Nicholas, Sabrina, Brittany, Gina, and Rebecca, and a cherished great-grandfather to Grant, Logan, and Scarlett. He cherished his time with family, especially time with his grandchildren who all made him proud.
Carmelo was born in Limina, Sicily, on May 27, 1938, to Filipo and Angela. He proudly served in the Italian Army and was a skilled carpenter. Above all, Carmelo was a devoted family man whose love and dedication defined his life.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28, at 10:00 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 128 Parrott Road, West Nyack, followed by entombment at Saint Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
