Charlie Ngai Ma Tam

Charlie "Ngai Ma" Tam, born on December 16, 1947, passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 77. He was a resident of Congers, New York. He died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Tsuey Tam, and children; Johnny Tam, Tony Tam and Diana Velez, and his 5 grandchildren.

While he found much joy in working hard and supporting his family, he also built lifelong relationships with good friends and finding meaning in experiencing life. “If you don’t take a picture, you would never know you were here”. A man of many sayings and catchphrases, he loved to laugh and make people laugh.

A visitation will be held on October 22, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., located at 321 S Main St, New City, New York, 10956.

The funeral service will follow on the same day, October 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same venue, Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 South Main Street, New City, NY, 10956, US.

Burial will take place on October 22, 2025, from 12:45 pm to 1:15 pm at Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Hwy, Sparkill, NY, 10976.
