Deborah Bryant Keyes, J.D., of Middletown, NY and former longtime resident of Nanuet, NY, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Roosevelt Keyes Sr. and Nora Inez Bryant Keyes. She is survived by her two sisters, Adele Keyes Homer (Phillip) and Gloria Bryant Keyes; her brothers Roosevelt “Buster” Keyes Jr. and Lloyd Melvin Keyes (Evelyn); niece Ananda N. Vidal and nephew Jordan D. Henderson. Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. There will be a graveside service on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:30 am at Brick Church Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are sent to St. Jude Research Hospital for Children, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
