Deborah LaBounty Koda of New City, NY, 63 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 4, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Jesse, grandson Dameon, and ex-husband Steven. She was predeceased in death by her son Nick.
Deborah was born in Claremont, California to Beverly LaBounty on February 13, 1962. She grew up in the Ballard district of Seattle, Washington. Deborah met her husband Steven in 1986 in Seattle. They married in 1989 in Saugerties, NY and raised their two children on Bainbridge Island - a suburb of Seattle. Deborah was an actress, mom, spouse, friend, devoted daughter, care giver, and social media activist.
Deborah was a force of nature who’s presence was felt. Her laugh would wake up the whole room; her temper quick and loud -especially in defense of her kids. She believed in being present in the moment, and made sure we were there with her. Thank you, Deborah. We will miss you.
