Elba was born on December 2, 1934 in Cuba. She immigrated to the United States (New York) on August 28,1960 with her Husband and two daughters. Her son Julio was born three years later. Elba worked as a seamstress most of her life and after retiring to Miami, Florida she worked part-time as a crossing guard and also worked in a school cafeteria. Elba loved music, dancing and walking and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She always gave of herself unselfishly and never complained. She was happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anyone who knows them, knows that she was a star in their eyes and that’s all that ever mattered to her.
She is survived by her loving husband Julio who together would have celebrated 73 years of marriage on June 22, 2023; her three devoted children Marta Muniz, Maria Delgado and Julio Delgado (Rachel); and grandchildren Carlos Muniz, Marta Cortelli (Christian), Daniel Delgado, Juliana Delgado and Sophia Delgado; her great grandchildren, Emma Cortelli, Catherine Cortelli, Isabella Muniz, Gabriela Muniz and Mikella Muniz; her brother Jorge Isidor and sisters Josefa and Amelia Isidor and many beloved nieces and nephews and countless friends.
