Elizabeth C. Bremer

Elizabeth was born to Patrick Doris and Agnes (Cassidy) Dorison February 24, 1928 in Bronx, New York. In 1947, she was married to Henry Francis Bremer Jr., with whom she had six sons. They lived in the Bronx until 1958, when they moved to New City, New York, where she lived until her death.

Elizabeth was a member of the Church of St. Augustine in New City, New York for nearly 60 years. She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings: Michael Doris, Eileen (Doris) Duerholz, Alice (Doris) Basanda, Agnes (Doris) Reilly, and Teresa (Doris) Morehead; her husband; and two sons, Henry Francis Bremer III and James Bremer. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Bremer of Milford, New York, John Bremer of Brigantine, New Jersey, Patrick Bremer of Ulster Park, New York, and his wife, Maureen, and Lawrence Bremer of New City, New York; and her grandchildren Jennifer (Bremer) Yeakleof Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and her husband, Sean, and Ryan Bremer of Springfield, Massachusetts.

The family will receive visitors at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City, New York on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Church of St. Augustine, 140 Maple Avenue, New City, New York on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 10am. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Church of St. Anthony, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, New York.
