My Dear Cousin it’s been 4 years my God where does the time go. I miss you so much we shared so many memories l don’t want the last memories of us to be fighting cancer together, 4 years since I have been as a lot has happened l wish you were here to share with you and get your thoughts. I miss you my cousin, sister and best friend.

Evelyn was a good friend of my sister Blanca she loved her very much.  I knew her because we lived in the same building in NYC and her mother Tomasa who was a good friend of my mother. The last time I saw her was when she visited my sister in Florida with her husband and two sons. My condolence to the family and she May Rest In Peace.

In my life, cousin Evelyn was a hoot.  I remember as a child she always hugged and kissed me and said things to me that would make me laugh.  Later, she would say to me, “And your still alive.”  She always made me feel I was the most handsome man in the world. Well, memories of her will always be alive in my heart.  Rest to my cousin.

Dear Bob, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. She will be there when you remember the great times you had together. I hope those memories bring you comfort.

Evelyn is going to be missed by so many of the people whom her life and light touched. She was such a beautiful woman of God and she had a smile and inner-exuberance that would transform any room. I will always remember her amazing hugs and her ability to look at you in the eyes...making you feel seen and loved. Thank you Evelyn for the kindness you always showed me and for the incredible family you built. I will always remember you - - and I know you're at peace in the presence of God. Until we meet again.

Evie I never personally met, but to know her son Christian made me feel I knew her in many ways. I’ll miss your voice Evie. To the Family: Buildings Burn,People Die  but Real Love is Forever.

Myself, Amy and our family are at a loss of words to convey our sadness over Evelyn’s passing. Gifted with such a contagious smile, we all agreed that on every occasion she was able to make you feel most important no matter how young or old. Our only consolation is knowing she’s now able to share that smile in the presence of an Almighty God. Sincere and heartfelt condolences is extended to Robert, Robert-Paul, and Christian.

Our trip to Las Vegas was the best ever!! I never thought I would not see you again!! We shared our new grand baby girl. It meant the World to us to have you there!!  I just hope you understood how much you mean to us.  We will always Love  You!!!

I met a young girl,  we became friends. Then we became Sisters. 49 years later we are still Sisters.  My Heart is broken from loosing you. You have always been constant in my life.  I will always Love You!!! I will never for get the Love and Sisterhood we shared!!

We always had battle of the haircuts after my barbershop appts in MD!! Here's my fave of Evelyn...

I met Evelyn when our daughter attended the preschool program she taught at. Being greeted by her in the mornings was a blessing to this very tired and weary mama. Her love and concern for our family continued over the years and for that I am forever grateful.  She faithfully sent birthday cards to each of us and kept us covered in prayer. We love you Mrs. Cinnamon, as the baby in the family used to call her. Thank you for always making us feel like the most special people in the world! Robert, Robert Paul and Christian, thank you for sharing your amazing Diva with us. We love you. 

I first met Evelyn at New City Gospel Fellowship.  Later on, we shared the same hairdresser for years. I will miss her beautiful smile.  Until we meet again 🙏🏾

I couldn't be in Evelyn's presence without smiling, which usually developed into full-blown laughter! She was always one of our favorite Gracepoint (New City Gospel) alumnae. All of our children new and loved her, as well!
Our deepest sympathies to Robert, Christian, and Robert-Paul. So glad we will see her again!


Evelyn’s  smile could light up a room, never mind her personality and fire she had. Every time we saw each other it was met with a big hug and kiss along with her  favorite saying after I would ask how she was doing, “ I am favored and highly blessed” and she was! We spent many times together in couples classes  laughing and joking around like little kids but making even the tuff things to talk about, talk-able . Though we hadn’t seen each other in a while she and her family have and always remain dear to my heart. I can’t wait to we see each other again in the presence of the KING!!! Lots of love,  Vinny

My thoughts and prayers are with you Robert, Robert-Paul and Chris.  I and my family were so blessed to have such a dear and true friend in Evelyn (my buddy) over the years.  One day she invited me to a Mary Kay function and from then on our friendship blossomed.  Because of her I have videos of Ernie’s birthday and other special occasions since we didn’t own a video camera when he was a little boy.  Each time we’ve watched them we have been so grateful that she captured those moments for us.  We've also gotten a big kick out of watching her jumping on the trampoline at the party and play wrestling with one you boys.   I always enjoyed seeing the pictures she’d send me whenever all of you went on vacation.  It was so beautiful to see how close the four of you were.   She really loved and enjoyed being with her family.  Whenever I needed comfort or prayers, she was always there for me.  I will miss you my dear buddy, but I thank God for the hope we have in Him that one day we will see each other again.



God needed another angel! I will never forget her smile and the love/devotion she had for her family! RIP Diva! I will miss the laughs...

So blessed to have known this beautiful woman of God who was a pre-school teacher to both of my sons who are 10 years apart. Praying for the entire family.

I am so sad to hear of the loss to Bobby's beloved Evelyn. I send my deepest condolences to the whole family and send you my love and a hug hug Bobby. ❤
