Gloria passed away peacefully on July 27th 2024 completing her dance with cancer.
Gloria was born in Yonkers New York to her parents Edward and Yolanda (D’Esposito) Bracconeri. She lived on Grace Avenue in the Bronx New York for over 30 years. There she was surrounded by her family on every corner which were some of her most cherished times and most heartfelt memories. Dee loved her family, her aunts, uncles, cousins and her dear friends. To be among them was her most joy filled times. To be laughing and dancing but mostly entertaining them with her huge wit and immense sense of humor. Which everyone fully enjoyed. Dee’s Greatest Asset.
Graduating high school with a major in business Dee worked for several companies before she landed her ultimate employment for Red Devil Paints in Mount Vernon, New York. There she became the Executive Administrator Assistant for the President, VP and CEOs of the company. Dee spent over 20 years being administrator to the office staff, the Manufacturing Department, the shipping and sales departments.
She knew the company inside and out, she was highly respected for her leadership in that role. There she met several entrepreneurs capturing her interest of finance and investing in which she mastered over the years. When the company moved south, she semi-retired, becoming a business partner with her cousin Pam in the Gift Box Florist where they worked for 8 years.
After selling the florist Dee spent many years playing golf with her dear friends. On May 4 th , 1994 she married her long time love William “Bill” Pudney. They bought a home and moved to Old Tappan New Jersey where they resided till this day. Dee loved the Earth, planting, gardening, all her animals, traveling, Stock Market trading and especially being with family and friends.
The past 20 years she was on the board of Di Speranza Healing Ministry where she was very involved with fundraising, sharing in the caring of the cancer patients needs, preparing and giving out holiday gifts and guiding patients with love and compassion.
In 2018 Dee began her dance with cancer. She spent every day embracing her Faith while walking at the Marion Shrine. There she thanked Jesus for walking with her and the blessing of every single day she had. She will be greatly missed leaving an empty place in our hearts. Thank you Dee till we meet again.
