Gulizar Stamboulian

Gulizar is survived by three loving sons Viken of Manhattan, Christopher of Stony Point and his wife Brenda, and Ohan of Leonia N.J. She is also survived by her five Grandchildren Elizabeth, Erica, Emily, Sydney, and Jenna. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ohannes in 1990 and is also survived by her brother Hovsep and sister Margaret both of Illinois. Also she is survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

Gulizar was a lifelong member of the Armenian Relief Society where she received the Meritorious Service Award in 1990 and she was also a longtime member of St. Vartananz Church of Ridgefield N.J. Her family would also like to recognize The Friedwald Center of New City that provided her with care for the last five and a half years and a special thanks to all of her aides, nurses, and the rest of the staff. She thought very fondly of all of you and considered all of you her family.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13th for a memorial service from 3-6pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Services will be held after the memorial service on Saturday at 6pm.
