Lillian Mulready, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2023, at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 12, 1930, in the Bronx, New York, Lillian was the daughter of Lawrence Miller and Lillian Weisberg Miller.
Lillian was a proud Bronx native, and it was there that she spent the majority of her life before relocating to Congers, NY, in 1983. In 1949, she married the love of her life, Arthur J. Mulready, and together they built a beautiful life. Lillian and Arthur were blessed with two children, Deborah J. Mulready and Arthur R. Mulready. Sadly, her son Arthur pre-deceased her, leaving a void in the family's heart.
Family was the cornerstone of Lillian's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She was a devoted mother to Deborah, a caring mother-in-law to Jerry, and an adoring grandmother to Janine and Jason. Lillian's greatest joy came from being a great-grandmother to Danny and Ella, who brought immense happiness to her later years.
Lillian was one of six siblings, and she shared a special bond with her brothers and sisters throughout her life. Their love and support for one another remained unwavering. Lillian also formed close bonds with her sister-in-law Marilyn and Virginia, creating many cherished memories together. Lillian and Virginia traveled the world together, creating unforgettable experiences. She became particularly close to her niece April and her family, who were a constant presence in Lillian's life until the day of her passing.
Lillian's memory will forever be cherished by her daughter Deborah, son-in-law Jerry, grandchildren Janine and Jason, and great-grandchildren Danny and Ella. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire her family for generations to come. Lillian's warm and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
