Linda D. Makuch, of West Nyack, passed away with her loving husband by her side on August 26, 2012. She was 63. Linda was born in Mass. on December 31, 1948. Linda has been a West Nyack resident for the past 10 years and prior lived in Valley Cottage, NY. Linda worked in the fashion industry in New York City and appeared in many fashion publications along with full page layouts in the New York Times. Linda also modeled for Salvador Dali, and Linda was also an accomplished chef. Linda will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, who touched many lives. Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth of West Nyack; brothers; 4 children; and her loving grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Tues. from 6-9pm at the Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S. Main St., New City, NY 10956.
