Marie Venise Silfasse

She is survived by her daughter, Gilberte; her soninlaw,Carlo; two granddaughters; three grandsons; one grandsoninlaw; and two granddaughtersinlaw(Genevieve, Lizzie, Darnell, BertAlan, Ricardo, Alain, Sherise, and Kerri). She is also lovingly remembered by her seven greatgrandchildren: Julius, Innocencia Venise, Daniel, Lynia, Quintril, Chloe, and Cameron.

Venise cherished the time she spent with her family,especially her grandchildren,who brought her immense joy and pride.She was deeplydevoted to her family showingunwaveringlove,

commitment,and dedication to relatives both in the United States and in Haiti.

Born on September11,1930 in DameMarie, Haiti,Venise was the backbone of her family. She worked tirelessly to support her daughter and grandchildren and was a grandmother not only to her own, but to many others—both here and in her hometown—who were blessed to know her.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on January 24, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., located at 321 S Main St, New City,New York, 10956.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for the same day at the same venue,from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
