Michael Di Girolamo, currently of Hudson, Florida, passed away on July 21, 2022, following a tragic accident. Michael grew up in the Bronx, but was a long time resident of West Nyack, New York, where he resided with his family, raising three beautiful daughters. Michael was a devoted and loving father, son, brother and uncle. He was also a dedicated and loyal friend, employee and family man. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved cooking and gardening. If you asked Michael to fix something, rest assured he would bring along his trusted duct tape. Michael maintained long lasting friendships from his formative years, and he always enjoyed a good meal with good company. Although Rockland was his home he always had a yearning to live in Florida. Several years ago that dream became a reality. Sadly, it was not nearly long enough. One can only hope that he is with all those that passed before him, especially his mother (Tina Peluso) and is at peace.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022, followed by a prayer service at 5:00 pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
