Nicholas Joseph Travaglini

Nicholas Travaglini Jr. was born to Nicholas Travaglini Sr. and Rosemarie (Marcantano) Travaglini on August 10,1962 in Good Samaritan Hospital, in Suffern, N.Y. He entered heaven on Thursday, October 20, 2011. His beloved family surrounded him. Nick attended the Nyack Public Schools and worked for a time at Bekerlee Lumber yard in Congers, UPS and Linen & Things in the capacity of Sr. IT support analyst. Nicky is the beloved husband and friend of Eleanor (Salon) Travaglini, registered nurse, younger brother of Dr. Judith Travaglini, former school principal, Mr. Anthony Travaglini, CIO and managing partner of LionKey Technologies, by his sister-in-law, Susan, Decorator for Thomasville furniture, and his brother Mr. Mario Travaglini, former Glazier and Apiarist and by his nephews: Anthony and Liam; and his nieces Natalie Theresa, Meredith and Rose, all of whom he loved dearly. Known to all of us "Nicky", he was generous to a fault, had a quick wit, was spontaneous, innately sharp and had a wonderful sense of humor. He also was a dabbler in the culinary arts; and loved to attempt Nona's homemade spaghetti whenever possible. He also enjoyed creating his own hamburger and chicken recipes and particularly enjoyed these things while continuing to remain a die-hard JETS fan. Nick also had a great passion for music. It was something he thoroughly enjoyed. He played the bass guitar and loved to jam with "the guys" playing all kinds of music from the Beatles to Cold Play. He was a friend to everyone and loved by all who met him. Those who know him, all agree he went directly to heaven. There will be a mass of the Christian Burial at St. Paul's Church in Congers on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:00 to be followed by interment at Gethsemane in Rockland Lake.
