Olga Repka

She is survived by her daughter, Janis Julia, daughter in-law, Betsy, and son-in-law, Dan. She is also survived by five grandchildren (Natalie, Phillip, Mark, Zachary and Tyler) and two great grandchildren (Stella and Ciara). She was predeceased in death by her loving husband, Paul, and her dear son, Paul Phillip.

She cherished her time spent with family especially including with her grandchildren all of whom made her very proud.

Olga was born in New York, New York to her father John Kigik and her mother Julia Kigik (f/k/a Julia Trella) on July 20, 1929. Olga married Paul Repka of Homer City, Pennsylvania, in 1948. Olga was the backbone of the family, keenly focused on her two children, Paul and Janis, while working hard and excelling as a nutritionist for the New York City Board of Education. The strength and success of the family is due in no small part to Olga’s love and support, as well as her leading by example.

There will be a viewing at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City, New York on Tuesday, September 2nd beginning at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be the following morning at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY at 10:00 am.
