Patricia A Brochetto

Lovingly referred to as Patsy or Patty, she was born on June 25,1940 to Anna (nee Coliskey) and John Mastrobouno in Westchester County NY. She moved to New City in 1971, happily spending the remainder of her life in Rockland County.

Patsy grew up Tuckahoe NY, surrounded by her extended family, she graduated from Immaculate Conception Elementary School and Tuckahoe High School. As a child she danced with her brother Johnny, her love of dancing continued throughout her life, she was always the first person on the dance floor.

Patty was an avid gardener, loved creating floral arrangements and decorating for the holidays. She was an amazing cook, happiest when her house was full of family and friends. She was an active member of her beloved St. Augustine Church of New City, working and volunteering in multiple roles. She was a member of the Clarkstown Garden Club and Catholic Big Sisters. She worked for the A&P Corporation in accounts payable, a job she retired from with lifelong friends.

She married the love of her life Patrick in 1961, predeceasing her by only 40 days, they are now truly soulmates. Together they provided a nurturing and loving home for their daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They had a remarkably close group of friends who they spent many good times with. Patty's kindness and laughter will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have known her.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Elaine (Gary) Spanedda and Susan (William) Kopac, grandchildren Jake Spanedda (Amanda Alvarez), Tyler (Brittany) Kopac, Scott (Jaclyn) Spanedda and Emily Kopac, great grandsons Lucas and Joseph Kopac. She is predeceased by her husband Patrick Brochetto and her brother John Mastrobouno.

A Memorial visitation for Patricia will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 S Main St, New City, New York 10956. A Memorial Mass will occur Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Augustine Church, 140 Maple Ave, New City, New York 10956.
