Patricia J. Gandolfo

Patricia (Pat) Gandolfo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 17, 2012. Formally Pat Cavanagh she was born in and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Pat was predeceased by her grandson Ryan Faulkner. She is survived by her loving husband Carmine Gandolfo, three daughters, Lee Faulkner, Karen Gandolfo (Dan Oliver), Patty Mann (David Mann), five grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, William, Sydney and Ethan. She is also survived by her sister Sr. Karen Cavanagh and brother James Cavanagh. Pat was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She graduated with an Associates degree in business from Rockland Community College. Pat was a homemaker but also worked for many years outside the home and retired from Innovative Plastics of Orangeburg, NY as a customer service manager. Pat was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an avid gardener and Mastergardener, member of several book clubs, volunteer with Meals on Wheels and taught religious instruction. Pat was a lover of learning and a positive presence to all those who know her. She will be missed tremendously. Pat's family will receive friends and relatives at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home New City, NY on Tuesday March 21st from 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:15 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 128 Parrot Rd. West Nyack, NY followed by internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
