Patrick V. Fagan

Patrick "Poppy" Fagan of New City peacefully passed away June 10, 2015. Born June 2, 1954 in Teaneck, NJ to Alfred & Barbara (Ennis) Fagan. The soon-to-be second time grandpa is predeceased by his father Alfred Fagan and survived by his wife of 39 years Christine Fagan, two loving children Nichole Blau, Patrick (Jennifer) Fagan, adoring grandson Vincent Blau, his mother Barbara (Ennis) Fagan, devoted siblings Alfred (Linda), Barbara (Mark) Colon, Timothy (Lynn), John (Jodie), Brian (Karen), many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, one uncle (Elwood Ennis) and two aunts (Betsy Khalil & Mary Ellen Grandstaff).Along with passing on the joys of hobbies such as fishing and hunting to his grandson, Patrick's favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family. The entrepreneur and long time Rockland resident was known by all as a "gentle giant", hard working, first to lend a helping hand, "anything for my family" and will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.Family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Svc, New City. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Parish Church in Nanuet Monday at 10am. A private cremation will follow.
