Paul A. Kennedy Jr., M.D. passed away after a brief illness on December 15, 2013.He was born on February 11, 1932 to Paul and Eileen (Riordan) Kennedy in Englewood, NJ. He is a graduate of Regis High School, College of the Holy Cross, and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. The Focus of his career was New Drug Investigation for the Pharmaceutical industry including 20 years at Lederle Labs.Paul is survived by his wife, Pat and children, Paul, Mark, Sharon, Brian and their families including 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Jack and Mike and their families. Among his favorite memories was visiting National Parks with his family and summers at Germonds pool.The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Thursday 10am at St. Augustine's Church New City, NY. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
