Peter C. Vaccaro of West Haverstraw, NY, 72 years old, passed away on May 13, 2016. He was born on November 8, 1943 to Rose and Charles Vaccaro. He married the love of his life, Micki, in 1969. Peter was in the USAF and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed cooking, bowling, working at Costco and most importantly being with his family. He was an avid Yankee and 49ers fan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Micki, his daughters Elise (Brian) and Tara (Jonathan). He is also survived by his brother, Bobby (Diane) and his 4 grandchildren Nathaniel, Zachary, Miriam, and Brandon in addition to many nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4- 7pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Veteran’s Organization of choice or Hi Tor Animal Shelter in Pomona, NY.
