Salvatore Simone

Salvatore Simone, beloved father, son, brother and friend passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Father to two adult children, Gabriella and Michael, Sal loved them fiercely, never missing an opportunity to brag of their many accomplishments. He was loyal to his parents, taking care of them, as well as the other people in his life.

Sal was a hard worker. He was a talented heating and air conditioning technician (among many other skills he picked up over the years), and he took great joy in his work. Most of the time you could find him on a job site. If not there, he might be catching a Yankees game.

Sal will be missed, forever loved and always remembered by his large extended family.

Sal is survived by his children, Gabriella and Michael (Nicolina), and their mother, Lisa Simone, his parents John & Grace Simone, and brothers Mario (Angela), Anthony and Joe (Josephine) Simone, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Salvatore will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 S Main St, New City, New York 10956. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Parish, 36 W. Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY 10954. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, 36 W. Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY 10954.
