

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on December 23,1938, Natalie was the daughter of Peter and Mary Tamberino DeNatale. She entered the Dominican Congregation of Our Lady of the Rosary in Sparkill on September 8,1956 and received the name Sister Andrew Therese. She professed her first vows in 1958 and final vows in 1963. Sister Natalie earned a BS in Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College, Sparkill, NY, 1967 and an MS in Education from St. John University, Queens, NY, 1973. Sister Natalie’s ministries include Siena Hall Boys Home, Wilmington, DE (1958-1963); St. Rose Settlement, NYC (1963-1964);teacher, St. Anthony School, Nanuet, NY (1964-1967); teacher, Holy Family School, Hicksville, NY (1967-1977); secretary, Holy Trinity HS, Hicksville, NY (1977-1980); dental assistant (1980-1983) and North Shore University Hospital (1983-1984); clerk at Baron Company (1985-1987); administrative assistant, Diocese of Rockville Center (1987-2001); VP Mission & Ministry, CHS Ambulance Service, Farmingdale, NY (2001-2003); administrative assistant, St. Ignatius Human Resources, Hicksville, NY (2003-2004); office assistant, Little Village School, Seaford, NY (2004-2015). From 2016 to 2021, Sister Natalie ministered in community service in Dominican Convent, Sparkill, NY. Sister Natalie is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Mary Tamberino DeNatale, and siblings Eleana Weil, Ann Quinn, John, Andrew and James. She is survived by Peter (Kathryn), Robert(Pam), Joseph (Margaret), Mary Carone and her Dominican Sisters and Associates.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, Sparkill, NYon Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11:00AM. Visitation is Monday, May 1, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Dominican Convent, 175 Route 340, Sparkill, NY. Mass will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
