Thomas J. Fox

Born September 4, 1953 to Timothy H. and Theresa Fernandez Fox in Yonkers, NY Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday August 2, 2024.

Tom was a retired Westchester County Corrections Officer in Valhalla, NY After suffering a stroke in 1998 Tom did amazing in recovering his speech and capabilities - dealing with his limitations with grace..An avid fisherman and outdoors man...a diehard NY Yankee and NY Giants fan. and a true New Yorker. Tom always said -" I'm not going nowhere- why live anywhere else! NY is the greatest: and so was Tom Fox. The Silver Fox. A one in a million man.

Though Tom was single he was a family man. Tom was always there to take care of his family. You could always count on Tom to have your back. Uncle Tommy was there for all his girls .. mom, sisters, and nieces and friends. And of course his friends who are family too - going back to our growing up days as the dead end kids on BVA.

Tom will be missed without measure. but never ever forgotten.

Predeceased by his parents and sister Marilyn Pitcher of Pearl River, NY. Survived by his brother Timothy P. Fox of Congers, NY, sister Cecelia Fox of Easton, CT and nieces Theresa Whitton (Bill and Billy) of Tappan, NY, Elise Leggiardo (Keith and Adeline) of Brewster, NY, Taylor McIntosh (Simone) of Stratford, CT, and Alexis Ephie (Ben, Zenaya, Kennedy and baby Ben).
