Veronica Ann Rose returned to Jesus on December 19, 2023. Veronica Ann resided in Honolulu, Hawaii with her husband David Rose..Veronica was born in Nyack Hospital on June 26, 1972 She graduated from Nanuet High School in 1990. After high school Veronica graduated from HoHokus Medical Assistance School and shortly afterwards was employed at GI associates of New City, NY. where she worked from 1991 to 2012. There her love of nursing took hold and Veronica became a registered nurse. In 2012, she was a Care Coordination-Population Health Nurse at Mt. Kisco Medical in Mt. Kisco, NY, until 2019 when Veronica and David moved to Hawaii where Veronica became employed as a Patient Care Coordinator (BSN, RN, AMB & BC) for The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.

Veronica is survived by her husband David Rose, stepsons Justin and Michael Rose, her mother Frances Conforti of Peekskill, NY, her father Joseph Russell of Nanuet. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Russell {spouse Marzia} nephews Aidan and Luke Russell, brother Edward {spouse Katherine} nephew Nicholas and niece Cecilia, and Uncle Emil Conforti and many cousins and friends both here and in Hawaii who all love her and will miss her so very much. Veronica was adventurous, often participating in rock climbing, skiing, and kayaking on both the Hudson River and Pacific Ocean.

A wake is scheduled for January 12, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc, 321 South Main Street, New City, New York 10956. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 a. m. at Saint Anthony’s Parish Church, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954 In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
