William (Bill) Atchison was born on April 30, 1929 in Castledawson, Northern Ireland. He passed away peacefully on March 13, 2013. Bill worked for Chrysler Corporation for almost 30 years and retired as Regional Manager. He enjoyed attending car shows and specifically enjoyed showing his Jaguar. Bill was happily married to his loving bride Renee for 61 years and got great joy from being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Renee; daughters Patricia Bellgraph (Thomas), Maureen Heintz (Paul), Evelyn Davies (Tyler), grandchildren Kelly Cooley (Brandon), Sarah Proscia (Scott), Kyle Bellgraph, Tyler Heintz, and Emma, Rhys and Rhett Davies; great-grandchildren Lauren and Ella Cooley, Madeline and Michael Proscia; sister Eveline Bill (Desmond), brother Samuel Atchison and nephews Justin and Conor Bill.
Family will receive visitors on Friday from 5-8pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, in New City. A service will take place on Saturday at 11am at Higgins Funeral Home. Private cremation to follow.
