Child of God, daughter of Swen and Emma Swenson. Born and raised near Walnut Grove, Minnesota, a childhood that mirrored the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder "On the Banks of Plum Creek". Those early years were never forgotten and often relived.
Preceded in death by husband, Otto “Ozzie” and daughter, Vonne Jenson.
Survived by children; David (Dodie), Steven (Barbara), Marilyn Bergstrom (Kal), and Jonathan; son-in-law, Gordon Jenson; 10 grandchildren, Christy, Leah, John, Karen, Andrew, Brian, Bethany, Emily, Nate and Anna; 7 great-grandchildren, Zion, Erik, Kate, Annika, Isaac, Helen and Emma; siblings; Eunice Morgan, Audrey Bugbee and Curtis Swenson.
Funeral service Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church; 5200 Emerson Avenue North; Minneapolis. Visitation Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope and at church one hour before service. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
