I am so sorry to read about Sophie's passing. She was friends with my Grandmother - Rose Sirabella. I grew up in New Hyde Park and my mother (Katherine) and I would see she and Pat at Notre Dame Church and around town, throughout the years. I have since moved out of New York and to Florida. I am sorry for your loss.

I have fond memories of my Sunday visits to Jackson Heights. Aunt Sophie would pinch my cheeks and say, "guanda z bella". I will miss her dearly. I feel blessed that she is my aunt and we were part of a loving Italian family. The bonds were strong and there was plenty of love to go around.
Aunt Sophie, you are cherished. Give Uncle Pat a kiss from me.
Marty and I send our thoughts and prayers to Anna, Liz, Dick and Joseph. Much love to the other family members that I have not mentioned.

My Aunt Sophie would always remember me, even when she didn’t others. My fond memories were when I was young staying with her and the twins. She taught me how to make French Toast and croched me a lovely blanket. I think of her when I make French Toast and wrap that blanket around me. Also, she would always tell me how they would make “Benedite” the correct way. Miss you Aunt Sophie but I am glad you are reunited with Uncle Pat and your family. My sincere Sympathies go out to Anna, Elizabeth, Joe and their cousin Louise. Love, your cousin BETTY ANNE!💜💜💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Aunt Sophie was a very kind lady. I recall that she always had her hair done up nicely and dressed impeccably. Whenever I saw her in the past she always had something endearing to say to me. I’m sure that she is finally up there with uncle Pat at his ranch having a good old time

You will be missed,
Your nephew Anthony
