

RYNELLA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Agnes Migues Walker, age 79, at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church with Fr. Donovon Labbe officiating. Interment will follow at St. Marcellus Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Agnes passed away at 4:15 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at her residence.
Agnes was a woman of great faith, a member of St. Marcellus Catholic Church and the Come Lord Jesus Group. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who continuously prayed for her family and well being. Mrs. Walker was employed at Ace Uniform Co as a monogrammer for many years and enjoyed gardening and reading. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her six children; Roy A. Walker, Linda Alleman and husband Tom, Kenneth P. Walker, Suzette Ellis and husband Tom, Brigette Derouen and husband Elridge and Judy Walker all of New Iberia; fifteen grandchildren, Shane Walker and wife Terrilyn, Shanna Walker, Dawn Collins and husband William, David Alleman, Nicole Richard and husband David, Lawanda Ellis, Tanya Ellis, Joshua Ellis and wife Ashley, Melanie Migues and husband Kendal, Casey Derouen, Natasha Gambril and husband Chad, Elridge Derouen, Jr. and wife Claudia, Ashley Anding and husband Scott, Mandee Derouen, Brittany Derouen and Steven David; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Addison, Bren, Cade, Jaden, Presleigh, Taylor, Dylan, Kole, Hunter Doyle, Valarie, Allyson, Gage, Paige, Hollie, Blaise, Kelsie, Baylee, Hunter James, Caden, Darrien, Carter, Kaylynn, Abbygayl and Gracie. She is also survived by one sister, Jeanette Prosser and husband Bruce of Jordan, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oge and Suzette Boudreaux Migues; daughter in law, Jody M. Walker; and special son, Billy David.
Pallbearers will be Tom Alleman, Tom Ellis, Elridge Derouen, David Alleman, Joshua Ellis and Shane Walker.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to, St. Marcellus Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank her special friends Clay Rodrigue, Dee Broussard, the members of Come Lord Jesus Group, Journey Hospice, Dr. Mark Charbonnet and Dr. Kenneth Ritter and their staffs and numerous nieces and nephews for their care and compassion.
