With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alcide Thomas “Tommy” Boudreaux, Jr, a beloved husband, devoted father, caring brother, cherished uncle, and loyal friend. Tommy left this world surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 59.
Born on January 24, 1966, in Franklin, LA to the late Alcide Thomas and Barbara Charpentier Boudreaux, Sr.
For 31 years, Tommy was a dedicated employee of Cajun Building Specialties, Inc., where his strong work ethic and genuine spirit earned him the respect and admiration of coworkers and clients alike.
Tommy was the kind of man who never met a stranger. He had a heart as big as his smile and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Whether it was lending a hand, sharing a joke, or simply being there when it mattered most, Tommy’s presence brought warmth and light to every room he entered.
At home, he was the center of his family’s world. Known as the family jokester, he could always be counted on for a laugh, a story, or a well-timed prank. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
Tommy also found peace and joy in the outdoors. Whether he was in a deer stand at dawn or casting a line into the water, he was at home in nature. His love for hunting and fishing was matched only by his passion for classic cars.
A proud member of the Cruising Cajun Country Car Club, Tommy took immense pride in showing off his 1989 IROC-Z28 Camaro at car shows across the region. His Camaro wasn’t just a car—it was a reflection of his personality: bold, classic, and full of character.
Tommy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone from our sight, his laughter, kindness, and unforgettable spirit will remain with us always.
