NEW IBERIA – Memorial services for Alta Louise Simon, age 52, will be held at a later date.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Simon passed away at 8:04 pm on Monday, April 4, 2011 at her residence.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Francis Jackson and husband Gilbert and Betty Jo Walker all of New Iberia; 2 brothers, Giles Simon, Jr. and wife Susan of Royse City, TX and Billy John Simon and wife Barbara of New Iberia; nieces and nephews, Edward Simon, Sr., Linus Simon, Kyla Simon and Shaen Mayeux and great nieces and nephews Samantha Landry, Felisha Landry, Derick Landry, Donavon Landry, and Marquisha Alexis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Giles and Emelie Suire Simon, Sr.
