Ann was born on April 27, 1953, in Jeanerette, LA, to the late Ernest and Stella Trimble Landry, Sr. She was a cherished member of Our Savior's Church, where she found joy and comfort in her faith.
Ann was a vibrant and active woman who had a passion for life. She loved playing cards, enjoying Bingo, and spending time at the casino. Ann was always on the go, whether it was camping or traveling for vacations. She was never one to sit still and was known for her adventurous spirit and zest for life.
Above all, Ann cherished her family. She cared for each of them deeply and was a constant source of love and support. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she was known to spoil them with affection and attention.
Ann’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished moments with her family and friends.
Ann is survived by her husband of 31 years, Wilton Nicholas Seaux; two daughters, Shannon Horton Rabeaux and husband Timmy and Sheryl Ann Horton; son-in-law, Glyn Richie, Jr.; stepson, Jeremy Seaux; eight grandchildren, Kayla Hohle and husband Dylan, Tyler Sohm and wife Deja, Devin Sohm, Sierra Rabeaux, Joshua Richie and wife Jaclyn, Jenna Richie, Dylan Landry and her special granddaughter, Sienna Richie; three step-grandchildren, Brennan Seaux, Cayman Seaux, and Bowen Seaux; three great-grandchildren, Jett Richie, Jude Richie, and Wren Sohm; one brother, Gerald Landry, Sr. and wife Thelma and three sisters, Helen Rebert, Nora Rodrigue and husband Ted and Margaret LeBlanc.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Jason Horton; one daughter, Sherry Richie; one sister, Rita DeRouen and five brothers, Ernest Landry, Jr., Arthur Landry, Lawrence Landry, James Landry, and Frank Landry, Sr. and one sister, Rita DeRouen.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 am at Evangeline Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Neel of Our Savior’s Church will officiate. Following the service, Anne will be laid to rest at Holy Family Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Evangeline Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until the time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Seaux, Timmy Rabeaux, Glyn Richie, Jr., Tyler Sohm, Joshua Richie, Devin Sohm and Brandon Landry.
