Bobby Forrester

NEW IBERIA – Memorial funeral services will be celebrated for Bobby Forrester, age 68, at 11:00 am Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Pastor Donald Pharr of Faith Cathedral will officiate. Interment will follow at the Primeaux Cemetery in Erath.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of services.

A native of Pineville and resident of New Iberia, Bobby passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Iberia Medical Center.

Bobby enjoyed painting and arts and crafts. He loved his family and enjoyed the time spent with them. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Josie Touchet Forrester of New Iberia; his step-sons, Chris Langlinais and wife Kim of Erath, and Brandon Langlinais and wife Lacey of Jeanerette; five grandchildren, Emma, Erin, Luke, Cole and Briley Langlinais; his father, Donald Owens of New Iberia; three brothers, Danny Forrester, Wayne Owens, and Billy Owens; his sister, Annette Louviere; and a very dear friend, Carolyn Ford.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Syble Couvillion Owens; and sister, Frances McGlothlan.
