Chris Anthony Segura

BROUSSARD – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. Chris Anthony Segura, age 69, at 11:00 am Friday, December 11, 2015 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am on Friday until time of service at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Segura passed away at 7:02 am on, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Dauterive Hospital.

Chris was an excellent cook who enjoyed entertaining and cooking for others and seeing them enjoy his food.

He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay S. Tuite and husband Dr. Michael P. Tuite of Youngsville; two sons, Christopher Segura and wife Erin of Lafayette and Colby Segura and wife Tonya of Alexandria; four grandchildren, Conner Segura; Mary Claire Tuite; Caleb Segura and Cole Segura; two sisters, Sally Segura of St. Martinville and Ellen Doucet of Westwego and two brothers, Craig Segura of Witchita Falls, TX and Clark Segura of St. Martinville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clet and Sidonie Boudreaux Segura and one brother, Clyde Segura.
