Graveside services for Christopher will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Holy Family Cemetery where he will be laid to rest alongside his father. Fr. Matt Hebert will officiate.
Christopher, better known as Chris, was a kind and caring man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a hard worker and loved working with his hands and wood. A carpenter by trade Chris learned the skills from his loving father, Ferrel, whom he grew up working alongside. Chris will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Debra Derouen Perron of New Iberia; sisters, Amanda Claire Perron of Baton Rouge and Amy Elizabeth Perron VanVleit and husband Jack, III of Lafayette; and niece, Peyton VanVleit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ferrel Perron; maternal grandparents J.P. and Lou Anna Bodin Derouen; and paternal grandparents, Renise and Irene Guillory Perron.
