Clifford Anthony LeBlanc, Jr., known to his family and friends as "Lil Tony," passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 56 at his residence in Franklin, LA. Born on August 26, 1968, in New Iberia, LA, Tony was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tony was the proud owner of LeBlanc Trucking, LLC, a business he operated with great pride for the past 10 years. He poured his heart into his work, earning respect for his dedication and commitment to providing excellent service. His strong work ethic and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
Outside of work, Tony had a deep love for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting and fishing. He spent many happy hours enjoying nature's beauty and the peaceful solitude it provided. Tony was also an avid football fan, passionately supporting his New Orleans Saints.
Above all, Tony will be remembered for his immense love for his nieces, nephews, and godchildren. He took great joy in spoiling them, especially during the holiday season, where he was known for going above and beyond to find the perfect Christmas gifts for each of them. His generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and his spirit will live on through the many memories he created with those he loved.
Tony’s legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of calling him family and friend.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Susanne Broussard LeBlanc and Lloyd A. LeBlanc; three brothers, Alex J. LeBlanc and wife Tonya; David P. LeBlanc and Tim Scott LeBlanc and wife Karen; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Laviolette and Cody; Victoria LeBlanc and Kevin Rodriguez, Jr.; Sara LeBlanc; Madison LeBlanc; Matthew LeBlanc; Maegan Coleman and Blake and Jaymin Scott LeBlanc and his great nieces and nephews, Kayden James Laviolette and Peytin Laviolette.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Anthony LeBlanc, Sr.; great-nephew, Kevin James Rodriguez, III; maternal grandparents, Roland Granger and Electa Granger and paternal Grandparents, Antoine LeBlanc and Rosina LeBlanc.
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial visitation on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Evangeline Funeral. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm.
Lil Tony will be laid to rest alongside his father at St. John Cemetery in Jeanerette, privately at a later date.
