

NEW IBERIA – Funeral services will be celebrated for Deborah Tuttle Gaspard, age 61, on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Holy Family Chapel. Rev. Scott Bullock will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Friday from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm.
Deborah was born April 29, 1954 in Butte, Montana to the late Miles Tuttle and Dolores Rickner Tuttle, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Dauterive Hospital, with her family at her side.
Deborah was retired from Shell Oil as a Drilling Engineer with over 23 years of loyal and dedicated service. She has served as past President of both the American Association of Drilling Engineers-New Orleans Chapter and the Shell Retirees Association. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, and volunteered her time to many charitable organizations.
Deborah touched many lives and was known for her caring and generous heart. She was a loving mother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her son, Miles Gaspard of New Iberia; her former husband and friend, Gregory G. Gaspard; her sister, Tana Boldt of Deer Lodge, Montana; and her niece, Heather Boldt.
Pallbearers will be members of the family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Deborah’s name to First United Methodist Church, 119 Jefferson Street, New Iberia, LA 70560.
