Faye was born February 2, 1951 in New Iberia to the late Robert LeBlanc and the late Florence Trahan LeBlanc. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, grand dogs and her beloved cat Alex. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robie Hunter and wife Nicole of New Iberia and Trisha Hunter of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Aidan Michael Hunter and Teagan Janiece Hunter; brothers-in-law, Richard Hunter and wife Janice of Lindale, TX, Jerry Hunter and wife Fredia of Arcadia, LA , Mark Hardy and wife Peggy of Conroe, TX and Percy Hardy and wife Kathi of Harrison, AR; sisters-in-law, Gail Hunter of Pearland, TX and Linda LeBlanc of New Iberia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael David Hunter; her daughter, Kris Ann Hunter; her brother, Darrell LeBlanc; and brother-in-law, John Wayne Hunter and his wife Joyce.
In keeping with Faye's wishes, private graveside funeral services will be held and she will be laid to rest with her husband and daughter.
