Francis "France" Segura

RYNELLA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. Francis “France” Segura, age 73, at 10:00 am Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church with Fr. Gene Tremie officiating. Interment will be follow at St. Marcellus Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Friday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Segura passed away at 8:52 pm on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Iberia Medical Center.

Mr. Segura was a lifelong farmer; he enjoyed fishing and hunting and watching western movies. He was a member of St. Marcellus Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 7050, Third Degree.

He is survived by his brothers, Sidney Joseph Segura and Philip Segura both of New Iberia; two aunts, Maxine Boudreaux of Oregon and Mary Boudreaux Ponthieux of Texas and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theogene and Eula Boudreaux Segura; one sister, Irene Marie Segura; grandparents, Adonis and Margaret Gary Segura and Dorville Philip and Felicia Bonin Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
