Helen Duhon Hulin

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hulin passed away at 5:10 am on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Maison Teche Nursing Home.

Mrs. Hulin loved to play cards, watch baseball and cook. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son; Curtis Hulin and wife Thelma of New Iberia, daughters; Joyce Boudreaux and husband Robert of New Iberia, Linda Roberts of New Iberia, Charlene Hulin of New Iberia, Laurie Hulin of New Iberia; sister, Jeanette Bonin, grandchildren; Robert Boudreaux, Jr., Tommy Hulin, Bradley Roberts, William Hulin, great-grandchildren; Gabrielle Boudreaux, Macy Toups and Gavin Toups.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Otis Hulin, parents; Felicien and Elia Duhon, grandson; Mickey Paul Hulin, six sisters and five brothers.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Hulin, Bradley Roberts, William Hulin, Wayne Duhon, Sr., Michael Delahoussaye and Kenny Dugas. Ronnie Duhon and Robert Boudreaux will serve as honorary pallbearers.
